A: You know your child the best-but remember, he/she is also just a child. Our approach to children's photography isn't to make them sit perfectly still and smile perfectly right at the camera-sure, some do, but most? They behave like KIDS! The are active, they explore, they make faces, they giggle and laugh. We chase them around, and focus on capturing childhood, not an idea of what perfect children should be! We want you to look at your photos years later, and say "Jimmy, you always made that silly face when you were 3!", or "Jane, you were such a sweet, shy little girl when you were a toddler!" So its best for mommy and daddy to just sit back and observe, so that little Jimmy or Jane can be themselves for the camera. :)

A: Reschedule. Let them recover and rest, so that they are back to themselves for their session!

A: For our children sessions, we only photograph one child at a time that day. If you have a young child, for instance a one year old, and would like a sibling shot at the end, if time allows we can take a quick one only if the child(ren) are cooperative. However, for multiple children, we highly suggest you book a family session, as they allow for more time and flexibility, and are at a better price. Mom and dad don't have to be in a family session!

A: We would love to see little Jimmy again! It is about 2 weeks after your session that your photos will be ready for a peek view. We will then contact you to set up your viewing/ordering session at the studio, and ask that young children, if at a busy stage, visit with grandma or auntie, so that you can relax and go through the process and enjoy mommy/daddy time!
