Q: We just had a great session with you. How long until we get to see our pictures?
A: We know you are SO excited to see how awesome you look! Because session types differ on the post-session timelines, please refer to the FAQ section pertaining to the type of session you had.
Can you photograph our wedding?
We stopped doing weddings a few years ago, and honestly, it was the best decision for us! We LOVE having our weekends back with our families, and as much as we loved weddings...with Misty having teenagers, she just wasn't willing to commit years in advance to a date not knowing if she'd be (again) missing out on things with her own kids. Life's too short to work every single weekend! But hey, CONGRATS, and feel free to contact Misty for a referral, especially if you're a past client.
Q: We had a session a long time ago. Are we still able to order photos?
A: Depending on what type of session/when it was, possibly. Our studio will only guarantee that photos are archived for one year past your session date, so please make sure that any images wanted are purchased at your ordering appointment following your photo session. After one year, there is a $25 unarchive fee IF the images are still accessible, and ordering would be offered at the current price list. We understand that sometimes images get damaged, you have a new home with new options for display, etc...so please contact the studio directly regarding your requests.
I just had a baby, how can I get photos?
Well, if its a fur baby, call us! But if its a beautiful, precious new baby of yours, a heartfelt congratulations, but we are no longer offering newborn sessions as they are too difficult to have "on call" with our busy schedule. We are happy to refer if you need help finding a photographer!
Q: My cell phone takes great pictures. Can I take photos behind you?
A: No. We do not allow cell phones during sessions, for several reasons. One, because we want you present during the session and a part of it! Two, because we spend many, many hours learning and perfecting our techniques of lighting, posing, scouting locations, purchasing backdrops, props, etc...and we reserve the right to be the only photographer during your session. After all, its why you hired us, right?!
